Hi! I’m Susan, a traditional Catholic, wife, mother, farmer and life coach.

I’m here to teach you practical strategies

I’m here to let you know that you can be free of past pain. Daily anxiety and depression don’t need to hold you back from living your fullest life. It’s not just “carrying your cross” when you relive painful moments in your mind over and over again, it’s an addiction and I’m here to help you break the cycle.

When I learned to let go of hurt, process anxiety and depression and use my God-given intellect to direct my will towards goodness, I started to become a better wife, mother and daughter for the people I love. And through this process I learned to love and respect myself more too as a child of God. Let me show you how.

As a traditional Catholic, I understand that life coaching can sometimes sound a little woo-woo. I get it. But I’ve also seen the tremendous benefits in myself and my clients of working with a life coach grounded in a life of faith.

This is why I’ve spent the last several years re-interpreting modern life coaching for Catholics. Instead of “brain science” and “evolution”, we’ll talk about “natural order” and the way special way that God created man to live, work and function in society.

If you’ve ever heard someone talk about re-wiring the brain to create new neural pathways and thought, “woah, I’m outta here,” you’re in good company. But consider that we have the God-given ability to re-educate our minds to better align our will and desires with our intellect.

Our intellect is our rational, cognitive power. The intellect moves the will which is the power by which we choose and pursue definite goals. The will has a natural inclination for goodness (think of a small child’s desire to be helpful), but can be skewed by sin. And since the will directs our desires, it’s easy to get stuck in “shoulds” or bad habits instead of working with purpose and intention for the love of God.

“Fear is such a powerful emotion for humans that when we allow it to take us over, it drives compassion right out of our hearts.” - Thomas Aquinas
